Project Management of Environmental Projects:

What I Wish I’d Known About Project Management Before Becoming a PM

The Project Management Institute, California Central Valley Chapter (PMI-CCVC) and the Association of Environmental Professionals, Central California Chapter (AEP-Central) are pleased to host a joint meeting featuring four project managers, each with 15 or more years leading environmental projects, on a panel to discuss their learning experiences. Each panelist will discuss the processes, techniques and tools that they wish they had known about from the start. The panelists for this event are:

  • Christine Cox - Environmental Office Chief, Districts 6, 9 and 10, Caltrans
  • Deborah Kruse, PMP - Project Environmental Scientist, BSK Associates
  • Erik Ringelberg - Environmental Services Group Manager, BSK Associates
  • David Young - Manager, Planning & Environmental, URS Corporation

Project management processes, inputs, tools, techniques and products are more easily learned once you understand project management as an integrated approach. Whether you are a new PM or have decades of experience, this event aims to shorten your learning curve through hearing from practiced environmental professionals about how they develop and manage complex environmental projects.

Cost is $10 through March 13 or $15 if you register on the 14th, 15th or at the door.
