Join AEP on Saturday, October 9th for a day at the Museum of the Sierra in Shaver Lake! Friends and family welcome. Our group will do a short hike near the town of Shaver Lake, followed by a visit to the Museum of the Sierra which will include a presentation about the History of Chaffee Zoo. Itinerary: 9 am – 11 am Meet in the Museum of the Sierra parking lot for a short hike 11 am – 1 pm Tour Museum of the Sierra 12 pm – 1 pm Lunch provided by AEP outside of Museum (Pizza and Drinks) 1 pm – 2:30 pm Museum of the Sierra Presentation "History of Chaffee Zoo" Note: Presentation is open to the public and is indoors. Masks are required for non-vaccinated individuals. Admission is $5.00 per Adult, Current Central Sierra Historical Society Members are FREE. Coffee and Snacks are provided. Pricing: AEP Members and Their Guests - Free, plus AEP will cover admission to the Chaffee Zoo presentation, pizza and drinks. Non-Members and Their Guests - $10, which includes admission to the Chaffee Zoo presentation, pizza and drinks.
