The Institute of Transportation Engineers Central California Section will be having their lunch meeting on July 9, 2014 and AEP has been invited to attend.
Technical Program 1 – The Fulton Mall: Past, Present, and Future – Kim Leonard, Communications Manager of the Fresno Downtown Partnership. Kim will provide an overview of the history of the Fulton Mall and other pedestrian malls and a glimpse into where the Fulton Mall is headed.
Kim Leonard is the communications manager for Downtown Fresno Partnership and has been with the organization for almost two years. She currently leads monthly Yellow Umbrella Tours of downtown, manages the Downtown Fresno Blog and gets the good news about downtown revitalization projects out into the world via Downtown Fresno Partnership’s newsletters and social media. When she’s not wearing her DFP hat she occupies her time by serving as treasurer on the board of Creative Fresno, working on her own writing projects, and she is a recent graduate of Fresno’s Leading Young Professional’s (FLYP) Downtown Academy. While some Fresnans may rarely go south of Shaw, she hardly ever finds herself north of Belmont!

Directions:
From Hwy 99: Take the Shaw exit and head east about ½ mile through the signalized intersection of Shaw and Golden State Blvd. Make a left turn at the first left turn lane east of Golden State onto Jennifer Ave. Turn right at the first stop sign onto Gates Ave., then immediately left onto Jacquelyn Ave. The CHP office is on the corner of Gates and Jacquelyn. Proceed north on Jacquelyn just past the CHP office. Wedgewood Banquet Center is on the right side. Parking is available on street and also in the parking lot in the rear. Overflow parking is available in the dirt lot in the rear – if necessary.
From Shaw Avenue westbound: Turn right on Jennifer and follow the directions above.
